Even the supporting characters are fleshed out, believably flawed people, ones I’d be proud to call friends and family. I loved every part of this story. A talented author can create a world so real that you slip into it as if you’d always been a part of it. As if it were truth. I have found that to be true of Hauck no matter what she writes about. Upon entering the world of Brighton and now Hessenberg (Princess Ever After,) my mind was awash with the colors, sounds, sights, and even smells of this delightful, fictional city. So much so, I wish it were real so that I could schedule a visit! All in all, this was a world I did not want to leave.

So glad to know there are many more Rachel Hauck books!
